I don't understand why Denver would do this trade because Miller and Boykins are a great starter-sub 1-2 punch for the PG....

But IMO, PP is betetr than Andre... and I wouldnt mind seeing E-Boy starting some games.

My guess is Earl Watson will start at point guard.

I loved Paul Pierce but now he's one of the Thuggets and I can't like him anymore.

The divison will be the Timberwolves.

Earl Boykins will prob be sixth man cause he's a real energy player. Obviously, a lot of people wanna see him start though lol

Wait.. didnt Boykins block Watson once? or was it Watson who blocked Boykins.. i cant remember...

awsome trade. I think boston is losing some scoring but the young players on the team should make up for it. Not a bad trade. So i guess Pierce will be at SG and Melo will be at SF? What a line up!!
But who's going to be the main guy? Melo or Pierce? Melo might not like the answer to that one....

Hmmm, This means more moves coming for Boston if it goes through, they have a severe log-jam of PG's, maybe Marcus Banks will be involved in the deal as well?

If not im sure Aigne has another deal lined up to follow this....

If it goes through, it's quite a coup for the Nuggets... Although taking Andre and Nene from the roster will leave the bench a lot thinner and Andre is just waiting to return to that 11apg pace he was with the Clippers. Now he will have the ball to handle.

To be honest with you Celtics fans... The team was going nowhere with Pierce. He obviously could not carry the team and he turned out to be a player that they couldn't just build around. Ainge is smart, he has a plan... Well, atleast now the young guns will get their shot unless more trades are on the way. And they will get a good ball distributor in Miller and finally might have a starting center in Nene... Nene and Harrington on the front court is a dangerous duo, if they get it going.

Well apparently Boston is looking for a franchise player now with both Walker and Pierce gone now. Time to try and find the next Larry Bird.

This is a good trade for the Nuggets I think. At least on paper it looks good. If all stay healthy they could make a serious run. Camby was healthy 1 year with the Knicks and they reached all the way to the NBA Finals that year. Anything is possible!

Awesome deal for both teams. Nuggets get a legit superstar while the celts have a decent point. I wonder though if melo and peirce can coexist with one ball. :shake:

Oh, sorry, I meant Jefferson of course... I always get those two guys mixed up...

There just are too many Al's to my liking... Well not exactly, but I haven't been following the Hawks or the Celtics too closely during the last few seasons... Not much going on in those teams before this summer...

An unexpected trade by Boston. They already loss Walker, now Pierce. In return they got Miller and Nene. I say the Nuggets got the best deal out of this trade. The Nuggets looks very good so far and they should locked for a playoff spot in the West. Celtics? Well, out of playoffs contention already, unless they make another good trade before the trade deadline.
