Win or Go Home. Will LeBron make it?

Postby Mikki on Wed Apr 13, 2005 9:06 am

Only 2 weeks before the playoffs. The Cavs are in a slump but have won 2 in a row but the Sixers and Nets are hot. They have like 5 or 6 games left. Drew Goodenough has been good enough for the last 5 games with Z out. If they make it, I hope he can still deliver in the playoffs cause LeBron is absolutely getting very little help from his teammates. So, do you think LeBron (and the bums) will make it to the Off-Season?

Nope. They just haven't been playing good basketball lately.

5 games left and 3 are away, where they are horrible.

I'm guessing they'll probably hang on the 7th or 8th seed, but they'll be booted outta the first round.

nah.. they're playing the sixers.. and if the nets beat em then they'll be 3-1 up on both teams in a tie breaker situation (which it may well come down to)

I'd say all 30 teams will make it to the offseason. But I believe the Cavaliers will be one of the 16 teams that gets to play a few extra games before going there.

I hope they won't. First of all, because of LePr0n James. And, of course, because they threw Tricky out last year.

Look who's talking. You don't want them to succeed because they got rid of Ricky's ass. You have the nerve to comment on him? Pff.

Good One :applaud: lol.
I dont want the Cavs to make it to the Playoffs 'cause I want the Nets to be in it. The Nets deserve it way more than the Cavs (no disrespect to Lebron).

Word. Trading Ricky was addition by subtraction. Do you really think he'd be able to coexist with LeBron and the Cavs right now? He'd be arguing over touches, etc. Personally, I'd like to have seen Bron, Miles, and Davis given another/longer chance to play together, but changes were needed.

people are only upset over trading davis cause he is doing so good in boston. what people dont get is if he stayed in cleveland the change most likely never would have happened and the cavs would probably be worse off right now.

Yes. Look at him now at Boston, he's like the 3rd or 4th option off the bench and he's not complaining. It's just that Paul Silas/Jim Pax was a bad coach and he ruined the team.

Davis was traded before McInnis came. They had a pretty good run in the 2nd Half of the season but McInnis got hurt thus making their record going down once again. :x

C-Boo? LMAO

Shit ! I didnt see this coming! Cle has 1 game ahead of Nets.

Cleveland is playing:
At Detroit
Boston
At Toronto

Nets playing:
Phil
Washington
at Boston

Conclusion: Cle might lost to Det but with 2 wins they get into the playoff :)

Cleveland takes a loss against Detroit and will be slaughtered by Boston as well. They might win Toronto in last desperate struggle.

Nets will win Philadelphia and Washington but might lose to Boston.

Mark my words ;)

It's a toss up right now.. what it comes down to is the shere force of will.. both teams have shown they can knock off half decent opposition and both teams have shown they can drop games to mediocre teams.. at this point I can only hope my nets prevail
