rockets making a real nice surge b4 the all-star break. you can clearly see that t-mac is the superstar of the team not yao ming. when t-mac steps up, plays well on both ends the team is playing well but yao, he just doesn't have the mean streak that u see in top centers like shaq. he's just to damn soft(when he gets the damn ball in the low post, he doesn't use his height and size advantage, shoots a fucking fadeaway over a 6'9 eddie griffin) he is good but not great and after 3 seasons hasn't shown much development show i guess he'll probably be like this for the rest of his career

lol Yao is the backbone of the team. Without him they would start losing and T-Mac would have his same old excuse "I just wasnt trying". Yea you werent trying, and these cookies are made out of Baby Duck Assholes and Grits. <----Yummy

no tmac = rockets lose. no yao = rockets become magic (i.e., the best they could do is a 1st round playoff exit).

its really tmac's team, he has been hitting big shots lately and carrying the team most of the time, yao has some good games, a lot of average game and every now and then a excellent game

to the rockets owners- it's yao's team
in reality- it's t-mac's team
they all waiting for yao to dominate. Maybe he will if the rockets trade McGrady like the Suns did to Marbury to umm the bobcats for brevin knight plus picks

Just when you think you've seen the dumbest thing on here...

This is Tmacs team. Yao is nothing but another rik smits, and the rockets need some genuine depth to be effective in the playoffs. Tmac hasnt had the impact needed, but he is still head and shoulder's above yao ming. Tmac needs to actually make the players around him better if he wants to win..

T-Mac Couldnt do that in Orlando and he cant do it in Houston. What he needs is someone to be a role model to him instead of the other way around. Just imagin having someone like Garnett on Rockets. T-Mac would have someone to push him into trying as hard as he can becuase we all know KG does do his best. And makes everyone around him rise to the occasion. That type of trade probably will never happen but i think it could go somthing like this.

Yao-Lue/Picks for KG Since Rockets do have Ward and Mutumbo it could work out. Just a thought.

Thats true, he did take them there, but that was when the "quality" of the bottom 4 seeds of the east was the lowest in the last 20 years of the nba. Tmac was impressive, but he didnt make the players around him better.

If the Timberwolves ever made that trade I would burn down the Target Center and any arena they build after that.

well most ppl seem to forget the fact that tmac had shit around him while he was in orlando. now he hasn't proven that he can win with quality players surrounding him but i believe that t-mac is the franchise player for the rockets

But he isnt making those "quality" players any better now is he? So the "shit" player argument has no validity to it.

the only players that anyone should trade KG for are named LeBron and Duncan. That's it.

anyways, it's T-mac's team because well, Yao is too bitch to run a team, oh and he's Rik Smits.

thats a nice way to put it up. YAO is like the teams mascot without him the team wont have a fighting spirit no publicity and the fans will find them rockets a bore and he does put up a threat from the inside scoring and rebounding. Tmac is the man and the superstar of the team without him the team willl collapse and noone decides to step up. to sum it up its jeff van gundy's team anyway
