Vince Carter 360 Layup!!!

Postby TheFranchiseKing on Tue Feb 01, 2005 4:43 am

I just got back to my CPU this morning. I know most of you live on the other side of the world but if you missed the 360 layup by Vince Carter against the Lakers on Friday you missed one of the sickest plays in awhile.

I suggest you look for the highlight.

Butler's spin was still on the ground though.

Is he talking about the spin and dunk? That's not even close to being the same play...

Caron Butler did a spin move in the air for a layup. It was similar to Vince Carter's.

Anyways, after fri's and Sat's night games VInce looks very strong.

If he continues to play like this the Nets will win the division. (The division is so weak, i know it's nothing special but they get the playoff berth)

Do you guys think it can happen? Thoughts?

Doing a 360 layup while 2 defenders are coming at you is hard to do. This isn't exactly the same thing as trying the layup in your driveway by yourself.

Yeah teh 360 wasn't for no reason, it was to avoid being blocked in traffic. Maybe I got the Butler layup confused with something else. I'm confused again :x

Sorry Guys. I did not elaborate. He had 3 sick plays in that game and has put 30 up twice in a row. I did not ask the question just cause he made the layup there were other factors.

Vince Carter has definitley shown signs of his old self. How do you think the Nets are beginning to put up "W's" with Jefferson out and bunch of role players other than Kidd and Carter.

These two have really stepped up lately, Kidd is beginning to play like and All-Star point guard again and Vince has been playing like no one expected him to play.

I won't lie, I did doubt Vince when the trade first happened, but now I couldn't be happier.

And that layup was sick, in between Brian Cook and somebody else, it was in traffic, not just a clear path to the basket.

Man, nobody is focused on Brian Cook. When VC goes to the lane and turns a 360, what are you looking at? Brian Cook's feet or Vince Carter?

I could not have said it any better myself. Cook gets on my nerves. I plan on yelling tonight at the game.
