Why did the Rockets let go of Jackson anyway? Hes a good solid player and a outside shooter, but I dont care really.

That trade sucks, especially for rockets..i don't understand why is wesley better than jackson?? :? ..hornets stole that one, definately :wink:

How could Houston do that???? Jackson is a very solid role player, but Wesley could fit in well....

i dunno, the rox did give a lot, as much as i hate to admit it, i agree NO stole this one, they got a strong vet and good young player for only one alright vet........

IM MAD!!!! :x , wow concidentially , i wasted 150$ on a NO Wesley jersey , authentic , he was one of my favorite players in the NO , THIS SUCKS!!!! I got it yesterday and i didnt even wear it yet . Wow stupid Rockets , always ruining my dreams . Last time it was the Francis jersey , then 2 weeks later he got traded . i think i should stop buying jerseys or everyone will get traded ..

as for this trade.. i don't think this is bad for houston at all. aside from yao and mcgrady, no one on the team has stepped up scoring wise.. david wesley will sure as hell provide them with a lot of scoring and defense.. wesley is strong as hell and a pretty underrated defender.. trust me its not a bad pickup at all

Though he's been playing shooting guard for the Hornets the past few years, Wesley began his NBA career as a point guard so I guess he'll be replacing Bobby Sura alongside McGrady in the backcourt. I too think the Rockets made a mistake - JJ's been consistent for them the past year and a half, and I don't think acquiring Wesley will greatly improve their fortunes.

I'm sure I'll be proven wrong, but I'll go ahead and call it a trade for the sake of making a trade.

i saw this trade as soon as it was posted on the rockets board, but didnt feel like posting it, since it wasnt really THAT big of a trade. i think the rockets shouldve kept jj cuz he was one of their most consistent players.

But yeh, Hornets got the better of the deal..because even Nachbar is a pretty good role player in the making.

Nice deal for New Orleans. The Rockets have their second deal in a week. Will there be more? Who knows? I do. Juwan Howard or Clarence Weatherspoon will be gone by February.
