As for the topic (shock horror), there's nothing better than a good old rivalry, where there is always an element of violence involved; be it Jason Kidd getting a few hooks in at home, or Boston fans wanting to whoop his ass after the game. It makes for a more fiery atmosphere, more tense, exciting. It's good for the league, rivalries make the fans really really really care! I never wanted to see the Bulls lose to the Knicks for example a few years ago. Now it doesn't matter as much, the intensity has fizzled because Jalen Rose and Allan Houston aren't exactly going to try and rip eachothers heads off are they? But you bring back Starks, Cartwrights elbos, Pat, Ho-Grant, MJ and Oak... and you've got a rivalry baby!!

Every time I look at the NBA talk section and I see this topic "Something never change" I can't help myself by thinking of tupac saying that in the song "Changes". I mean, every time I see it I also f!ckin hear it !
