wonderful job by Lebron  2 asts shy of triple-double...nice..(y)he's begining to look like the star Cavs hoped for..that early in his career...although they already lost two games..Lebron shows us wut he can do if 1 or 2 more talented player comes on this team...

well well well................looks like their will be some Lebron vs Kobe and Lebron vs T-Mac threads around soon
after 2 games he has looked really impressive, he's scoring and dishing and doing all the things his team needs to win (like MJ did)........hopefully though he can keep his turnovers down.........i think he'll probly get bout 2.5tpg which isn't too bad

try watching a lebron james at a bar or mute the volume. watching him play is so much more enjoyable when you don't hear announcers mentioning his name for every little thing he does.

i wish lebron james, miles, davis didn't all wear white head bands, its hard to tell them apart a lot of the times

He's playing good. Those jumpshots looks great. This team could go far if they can play defense.

Just saw some LeBron highlights of his game against Sac-Town on this Australian sports show, and it gave these interesting figures i thought i'd share...

Points scored on Debut Game:
Michael Jordan -- 16
Kevin Garnett -- 8
Kobe Bryant -- 0
Tracy McGrady -- 0
LeBron James -- 25

Interesting.

impressive stuff... like a wise man once said... "Lebron is king of basketball" :D lmao...
From the highlights I saw, on pretty much every play Lebron scored on/or dished off, he went middle off a screen. Just an observation.

Well, that's what TV stations wanted and they love it. Showing LeBron games on TV knowing most of the fans' eyes are on him, I supposed the rating has gone up a lot. (Y)

I hasn't seen him playing yet but his stats looks great.
Yes, I know he's been on tv since he started playing but that's the best of watching what you want on tv, not being forced to watch whatever they want you to watch, lol. Terrific start for LeBron, tho, hope he keeps playing like that & the Cavs gets to the playoffs. (Y)

Haven't seen him play either, kid's got skills, nice stats for an 18 year old kid. Didn't expect him to be this good though, I thought he would be more like, 12-16 points, since I heard his jumpshot sucks, 6-8 rebounds, he would play SF so he would get his share of boards and around 6 assists since I heard he passes well, this is exceeding my expectations.

Not a hater or anything, but King of basketball, according to that wise man, was a person who would score 50 points, grab 25 boards and dish out 15 assists every night. :?

His 3's haven't been falling but his mid-range game has been excellent, he made a fadeaway 20 footer over Brad Miller in the Kings game.

No, I based my predicitons on how he will do b4 the season and all, on NBAdraft.net they said he needs to work on his shot, that's why I said that.

From what I hear, he's shooting pretty good so far.

He's not the king of bball yet, but he has played good. Did anyone notice he changed his jumper a little bit. And it started falling, unlike in preseason.

A quiet game for LeBron - 8 points (3/12 shooting), 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Personally, I think that's a good thing. It's unrealistic to expect him to maintain the same standard in every game he plays; everyone has an off-night.

I still think he'll have a great year, and I think my prediction of a return to the days where the ROY had stats comparable to established veterans stands a chance of becoming a reality. The lower expectations of 15, 5 and 5 will probably still be exceeded, but let's not be too quick to rate him amongst the elite players in the league's history. He's exploded out of the gate, but he's still got much to prove.

Well. THe stats did not show what kind of game he had! He played well. But it did not reflect. Problem being is that he's got some young and nieveplayers including himself. THat are not always responsible with the ball. Wait a few more years and the Cavs should be a team to reckon with! :!:

With those numbers i think he's still living up to the hype. His perfomances before were above and beyond the call of duty.

If he keeps playing this way maybe, but there could always be setbacks. If he gets to jordans prime level, he'll have to be better than kobe, which may take longer than 2 or 3 years. He needs to work on the jumper some.

He's fine! His jumper will be better if he puts more time into it. He has nice form but just gotta work on it!

In terms of skill? Quite possibly. In terms of accomplishments? Impossible.

Ow man, everybody is so up in the hype, look at you guys :P , lebron will hopefully become a star but i still think he could hit the rookie wall big time, and he will have some bad games, but that's normal and right now he is exceeding expectations
