Disappointing ROY

Is there any Rookie of the years in your opinion that did not live up to your standards or the standards which everyone expected from them?

Sorry for making two seperate posts but I think an example is Pau Gasol.
I know it is still really early to tell but his second season was not any better than his first year and he doesn't really show any signs of improvement.

pau gasol did improve in his second year......i don't know about rookies living up to expectations, but mike miller is the worst roy ever. kenyon martin should've got it, with darius miles second best rookie that year

Damon Stoudamire is a former ROY who hasn't turned out as expected. He had a few good years, but his career has kind of stalled the last couple of years in Portland. He isn't a bust and his career hasn't been terrible, but he was expected to be up there as one of the top five point guards in the league, and was drawing comparisons to the man who drafted him, Isiah Thomas.

Paul Gasol was a great player his rookie year, then improved over that slightly, when put up numbers like 17.6 ppg 8.9 reb 2.1 blks .518 FG%, then you raise your points to 19.0 ppg still get 8.8 rebs 1.8 blks .510 FG%, you have done fine. Gasol is 23-years-old and looks to be about one of the top power forwards already. I think pointing out Gasol as not improving is misleading, after all he was already solid, even should have been an All-Star already.

Darius Miles 9.4 ppg\5.9 reb\1.2 ast (1.54 blocks)
Kenyon Martin 12.0 ppg\7.4 reb\1.9 ast (1.15 steals, 1.66 blocks)

I would have to go with Kenyon Martin without question.
Although Miles only played 26.3 minutes per game and produced pretty good numbers.

Damon was extremely good in toronto but declined largely and is now a bench player so I have to agree with Damon as being a disappointing ROY. Mike Miller was also disappointing.

But back to Pau Gasol. He had an extremely good ROY. You would expect him to get a little better but in turn he slightly got worse. He didn't really have any serious injuries. Usually you would expect a rookie with no injuries and a roster that did not get any better to improve.
