its not about 'could', its about 'did'...he was doin better against shaq in the regular season than he was in the playoffs, if you wanna no why ask deke :roll:

if a player can slow another player down, then he should Always slow him down...every game, not in like 3 or 4 season games....And I tought that the players bring out their best in the Finals. So did Shaq, and Dik couldnt stop him

lol, yall talkin like its ma fault that he was good in the season but couldnt hold shaq down in the finals...anyway, i aint gonna try 2 find excuses 4 deke, ive got better things 2 do, all im tryin ta say is that imo he did a good job guarding shaq then...dont act all ridiculous

I have reason (see 2001 finals stats) to believe that Mutumbo couldn't/didn't stop Shaq.

You say he "was doin a better -job- against shaq in the regular season", but you dont have the stats to back up your words, I'm sorry to inform you, till you dont have the stats, you wont persuade me to believe that Mutumbo could/did stop Shaq. Face facts, Shaq ripped Mutumbo up, so you saying he did a good job is absurd. Saying you werent talking abou playoffs is more absurd, how can a player defend another player well in the regular season, and then not be able to defend him for shit in the playoffs? Thats where it matters most, in the playoffs, if Mutumbo couldnt guard Shaq in the playoffs, HE CANNOT GUARD SHAQ PERIOD, end of discussion, you say he can defend shaq, whereas he cannot.

Actuallt if I remember right,Deke didn't play against Shaq as a Sixer in the regular season :roll:

and I say nobody didn't stop Shaq in 2001 and I would like to see other playoff stats from the other series...I'm saying that Shaq killed Robinson...same with Divac...Sabonis did a good job on him but Shaq killed Dale Davis too :roll:
