Dirk Nowitzki Injures Left Leg vs Spurs

So what's the moral of the story there? "Can't win, don't try"? If he's good (enough) to go in a couple of weeks as suggested by the initial prognosis and the Mavericks are in the Playoffs, why shouldn't he return?

A story doesn't need to have a moral Andrew, stop looking for lessons. :P

I can't exactly remember but didn't Duncan got injured a few years back but it was decided for him not to return, even if he was able to, despite his team making it in the Playoffs?

Aw, Mavericks need to hold on to that playoff spot so the Nets can get their pick in this draft.

He missed the Playoffs in 2000 when the Spurs were upset by the Suns.
