To the true believers, the flagrant fouls, the flying cameras and the suspensions are just part of the game -- the price of passion. To teammates, coaches and fans, all of those things are background noise that takes away from the purity of an otherwise virtuoso performance.
He's not crazy, though the media, largely fueled by jealous coaches and general managers who had a vested interest in seeing him fail, would like you to believe it. Immature? Perhaps. Quick to anger? At times. But he's not that different than numerous other players around the league.
great article. is this guy really ruining the league as many have mentioned?

He's just hot-tempered.
There are always going to be idiots in life, just deal with them.

He's not ruining the league, but people can't keep turning a blind eye to his antics. Like Dennis Rodman before him, he'll be recognised by a select few for his talents, but his behaviour will mask his accomplishments.

I quite sincerely believe Ron Artest is in fact ruining the league.
But a mere mortal like him can't even dream of defeating the greatness of the NBA.

Artest is not ruining the league. He's just hot tempered like refuze said, but he makes the league a little more spicy, and I think he can, as he's a talented player in the both sides of the court.
Not to mention that I prefer to see him being crazy for passion of the game, than seeing a player being caught for hitting his wife or taking drugs

From what Ive seen, hes a agressive player on the court, but to bad sometimes a bit TO agressive in a wrong way, but behind that hes a good player, 1 of the best defensive stoppers in the league
