he has yet to do anything and you people are praising him up and down. Please!! let him prove himself before you so easily release your praise!!
I'm not saying he won't be a good palyer, then again he could not be all that great. think about how many players have been drafted with high expectations and never lived up to them (sam bowie, pervis ellison, olowokandi, shaun bradley, the list goes on and on)
all i'm saying is it's fine to be a fan already, but to be fanatical over a unproven player is crazy.

Yar I like LeBron as a player but it made me so angry to see the headline on the Plain Dealer online. The Headline was...
LeBron Stumbles
Come on it's preseason and he is 18 bah!

There's enough reason to have high expectations of LeBron James, at least in the long run. He won't have the best season of his career in his rookie year, but it seems like he'll become a special player one day.
That said, he's yet to officially tally a single point in the NBA. He has yet to prove himself.

I watched some games of Lebron all i can say is that he's a good passer. I think he is in the mold of magic johnson who can pass and sometimes score. One more thing he doesn't have a good jumpshot...

ROTFLMAO...
I think Heido has a 'thing' for guys that can pass behind their back.
Anyway...Lebron is showing already that he can play aside from his size and athleticism. I'd say on pure physical talent that he's second only to Kevin Garnett. His only physical weakness is his lack of overpowering speed...but if he dropped about 10-15 pounds he'd probably be a lot quicker also without losing any strength. He's also already the best passer on his team. Keep in mind also that he's only 18...

Well, I think he could be something in this league... I dunno if he will win ROY, he's in a quite troublesome environment (in the past), and who knows how and when Davis and Z gonna start clashing again in the upcoming season... But I sense this guy's gonna be something special... His passing skills are just awesome for someone his age, which brings me to his unselfishness... That's his greatest skill, IMHO.

He better learn how to shoot quick, otherwise, its going to be one ugly rookie season. Personally, I think the media are somehow trying to hype him up. Personally i think his performance these last few games have royally sucked. Not to mention this is preseason, hardly anyone average anywhere near 30 minutes a game. Let us all turn our attention to 'Melo. Homeboy scored 19 in his first game. Needs to do a bit more than score, but its a start.
