:o seems like Melo whined so much that Kiki Vandeweghe will give a chance to Rodman!

This surely has to be Rodman's last shot at the NBA. :? I'm in favour of a Rodman comeback...as long as they don't let him fulfil his desire to play his final game nude.

I was hoping the lakers would give him a shot. Hell he's an upgrade over Medvedenko esp in the playoffs.

Have heard some rumours about it before.

But he is 42years old! I mean thats really much, how old is Kevin Willis BTW? he is something like that.
It will be hard for the "The Worm" to do a good comeback, I mean, I don't think he is in any good shape! He is just drinking and f!cking!

But it will be interesting to see how a 42 years old alcoholic will do in the NBA.

I was thinking about saying that he just will make a fool outta himself.
But I was thinking about the same about Jordans comeback, I feelt that
he should end his carrer at his last season before his comeback.

But now after his retirement I feel that he did right doing a comeback!
He played really good his last season 02-03 !.

Anyway, my best wishes to "The Worm" if the does do a comeback.

Anyways, it'll be fun to see the worm back, we need entertainment (as if the Kobe freak show wasnt enough).

There's no way he's going to join the Lakers. Malone and Rodman don't get along very well. This is definitely his last shot in the NBA, no doubt. I hope he makes the team though. Rodman is a decent player. He's old, we all know that, but he's one of the most feared players in the game. No one is going to fuck with The Worm. Fear is an important factor. There should also be one guy in your team that opponents don't want to mess with. Just look at the Lakers for example, no one wants to take Shaq, especially because of the size advantage. The same thing with Ron Artest with the Pacers.

Artest vs Rodman will be a classic matchup. (Y)

Man, you are lost! First you claim that Terral Brandon was a decent player (he was big time allstar player) and now you claim that Rodman was a descent player! He was one of the best rebounder in NBA history ever (if not the best)!

Here are some facts
He has won Defensive player of the year 2 times!
He was choosen to be in NBA all Defensive First team!
Chosen to play All-star game 2 times!

You call that decent player player!??!?!!? You are lost!!

I don't know about Rodman being one of the most feared players. He was mostly annoying to other star post players and that's why not many people fought him, becuase they would be ejected as well.

he also lead the league in rebounding for nine STRAIGHT years! only Chamberlain topped that with eleven.

classic? both players are defensive stoppers. artest is ok on offense but most likely rodman would match up against a better scorer like harrington/o'neal and artest would guard anthony. if anything it would just be a distraction as the media would expect something bad to happen and rodman would certainly oblige to get more attention

the nba's regular season is too long for rodman to stay interested/stay out of trouble. too big of a risk for any team
Jump.

Don't know if you understood me but what I mean by decent: good, above the average

And about the Artest/Rodman matchup, that's really a type of battle I'd enjoy seeing. True that it's most likely for O'Neal to go against Rodman but watching Artest vs Rodman would be interesting. I'd really like to see these guys go at it because anythig is possible. Both are pretty hot-headed.

BDSSP had a interview with Rodman about his comback, and i gotta say.... he was pretty darn crazy, kinda interesting as well. he totally doesn't make any sense and rarely answers the questions, just babbling on with whatever he gots to say.... according to the interview, he definitely loves John Salley

Yes, but the people in the arena wouldn't have that. I wouldn't be among those people, but I would feel sorry for them nevertheless.

Man... 48 minutes is too long for D-Rod to stay out of trouble or remain interested!! :D I think if he has a big role he might be interested (like in 98 when Pip was out and Rodman had to step it up he played well during that stretch) but I don't think he can handle a big role at this age, nor would you want to take minutes from younger guys on the Nuggets.

I think they are basically using him to get some bums in the seats, it's not like he's the final piece of the puzzle for making the playoffs or winning the finals.

None the less, interesting to see him playing again (y)

I'm watching Bad As I Wanna Be: The Dennis Rodman Story, totally brought back how much of a nut the man he is, because of all his offcourt shennagins, and his on court behavior at times, his game was affected.
If he could have stopped headbutting ref's ( ) etc, I think he would have been a more appreciated player.

I am a big rodman fan so if he comes to any team i would be happy :P but from a GM's point of view having rodman has its pros and cons. the cons are that he is old and he might have some off the court issues that are a distraction to the team. the pros are that he will show some of the new guys how to play some D and get some rebounds and of course the biggest thing in a GM's mind is will this bring fans to our stadium? YES (Y) it will and more people will watch the nuggets just to c Rodman. I know i will! (oh yeah and that Carmelo kid i hear is good too, plus boykins).
