In my book backing up ludicrus arguements without good evidence/logical points is as bad as not backing it up at all.

Yes.

Okur is a matchup nightmare. He can drive past big men and take the midrange jumper, and if they put a smaller player on him, he shoots right over them.

And while I have the chance to talk about the Jazz, Deron Williams should be in the all-star game over Tony Parker.

I think that Okur received passes for open looks is irrelevant to his clutch factor....he had to 1) get open, 2) hit the shot under pressure....

Robert Horry gets called clutch & the majority of the time he is just getting the ball passed out to him for an open shot, no different situation with Okur....

Yeah, I think this is the most important things that makes a player clutch or not. Guys like Horry, Steve kerr, or other shooters are not that clutch, 'cause they get wide open shots.

The real clutch guys are the one like Arenas, Kobe, (maybe Okur, I didn't watch him play a lot...) and of course MJ in his time, because when they take the ball at the end of the game, evrybody on the other team knows that he is going to take the shot, they double team him and play big D just on him, and this guy is still able to take the shot, and make it, even with the big pressure, which is simply amazing.

Another example is Duncan, last season. He had one of his worst season of all his career, but when the playoffs come, everybody knows that he is going to destroy them, so once again they double team him, but he is still able to put numbers like 35 pts 14 rbnds, at more than 50% shooting (don't remember the exact numbers). Even if the Spurs lost, this prooves guys like Duncan are very good clutch players!

Why does everyone bash joejam for being a homer when he isn't any more of a homer than Indy or Riot? He just isn't as well spoken as them or have the ability to back up his ludicrus arguments with equally ludicrus support.

Okur is without a doubt one of the most clutch players in the nba, but like it has been said in this thread, how would you measure who's the most clutch? But instead of making the topic like you made it, it would've been better if you've made a more general topic like "who do you think is the most clutch player in the NBA today?".
