I find it funny though how hes ranked so high but he deserves it so far, this is proof that a All-Star vote dont mean jack shit.

Props to K-Mart, he's been great this year. He came on towards the end of last season though, so no surprises here. Ironically, he graduated from Western Carolina University, which is not far at all from where I live. I'm pretty sure he's the only person ever drafted from there (in any sports league), which makes his accomplishments all the more amazing. It's basically the easiest 4 year college in the world to get into. Put it in perspective, my cousin who got pregnant and flunked her junior and senior years of HS is going there (82% acceptance rate). Between friends, it's the joke to ask who got their coloring book (application) sent in to Western yet. To see someone like him come from one of the worst colleges around and rise to stardom is really a testament to hard work ethic and determination. Again congrats to K-Mart.

How did a guy like him, with all his skills and explosive athleticism, not manage to play at a bigger school?

I knew nothing about him when he came into the NBA. I knew he's had a decent NBA career, but his background I knew nothing about. Then I went to his profile and I saw "Western Carolina".

It's like Flip Murray coming from D2 Shaw or something.
