That is true, but you need to keep in mind the demands Kevin Garnett made at the end of last year. He said the roster last year was too young and the team needed more experience and leadership on the roster. Vin Baker certainly fits that mold and I think we'll see Vin Baker on the roster come opening day.

But will he survive the whole season?

And Riot, do you know a bit about Rick Rickert? I know he was from the Minny area and the Wolves did pick him in the second round... it would have been interesting if he got a stint with the team but obviously he was too young and inexperienced and not as skilled as some would like...

Yes...I saw Rick Rickert play a lot in his time at the University of Minnesota. He was a talented player but he played smaller than his size. The biggest knock on him was the fact that he was very thin and weak. He would not have lasted in the NBA for very long.

He left for the NBA early because his dad told him he would be a first round pick. All the scouts and experts were telling him he would be lucky if he was drafted but he listened to his father (of all people) and it ended up costing him his career. I believe he is playing in Europe now.

If he played for minny, you think he'd be a crowd favourite? lol

And yeah... just reading into more Baker, Baker knows Coach Casey from their Seattle days. That's got to mean something right? Maybe Coach can trust him if he's still on the team. (Y)
