The Show wrote:I just wanted to see what everybody thought about a few players. Just a little something different. If you're like me you'll be happy to see anything original from the same old "Who's better", talks that plague the off season. Feel free to add different players or categories.
Star or Superstar:
Lamar Odom - star: all around player, good at every facet of the game but not elite at any of them
Shawn Marion - star: plays with Nash, which makes his stats like a superstar, but he is only a star
Paul Pierce - superstar: only player the Celtics can count on year in and year out
Yao Ming - superstar: just look at the month before he got hurt, he basically carried the Rockets without McGrady
Ron Artest - star: can't carry a team, that's what I define a superstar as
Manu Ginobili - star: see above
Ben Wallace - in between: can carry a team on defense, but not on offense
Good or Star:
Charlie Villanueva - good
Jameer Nelson - good
Peja Stojakovic - good
Richard Hamilton - star
Kenyon Martin - good
Tyson Chandler - alright
Josh Howard - good
Alright or Good:
Kyle Korver - alright
Mickael Pietrus - alright
Nate Robinson - alright
Kwame Brown - alright
Chris Kaman - good
Desmond Mason - alright
Josh Smith - alright
Matt wrote:by the end of the season people will realise that Jameer Nelson is better than "good" and on his way to stardom.
