i think that is good for the knicks cause they would have a center in Raef lafrentz and wit dycess, van horn, and houston starting too that wouldnt be bad in the east they might be playoff bound if everyone stays healthy and shows up for the games

no no Dallas don't do this trade...not a smart move...u'll miss a true center..Thomas is good but he's too small...Dallas doesn't need another pg they've got Nash and Nick the quick...

No way on this trade, yeah we know we need a center but Lafrentz is also soft and overpaid. Another added softness to our ballclub. Layden is just killing this team.

Seems very unlikely to me though, raef, he aint the best, just solid, in combo with bradley they will do fine(of curz having mourning would have been better), and thomas would fill the pf but bradley(they aint gonna trade bradley cuz they wouldnt have a true C anymore, and especially not a 7foot C who gets in everybodys way  ) alone cant get dallas up there(win the title), and ward wouldnt c much playin time with nash and nick around, wont happen or dallas would be really stupid(unless they wanna lose)

once again i was stunned by the shear genius of scott layden... trading the knicks most exciting player and not to mention popular for the unmotivated Keith (just here for the paycheck) Van Horn.. this guy will undoubtedly give the knicks a solid game one out of every 5.. and maybe a great game one out of ten... where at least Spree played hard every nite... love to read how van horn is a great outside shooter... never has he been close to 50 percent from the field and shoots too many threes for a guy who barely cracks 30 percent...

another year and the garden will be silent come playoff time...
