Well, he didn't YET.

90:104. Brothers Lavrinovic were suberb in the 4th. That was some performance you know. We still need to improve in many things, including defense, but there are good things, like our frontline playing better than USA.

I watched it on NBA TV and I thought Macijauskas was ok too... as long as he stayed under control. After watching the USA's 5th game, I get the feeling Arenas and Bowen will be cut before leaving for Japan.

Lithuanians played terrible. Just in the 4th quarter they have recovered and showed some beautiful basketball. Well they lost, but whatever... This is still not a WC ;) These are just a friendly match..
Btw... LeBron made a sick and powerful slam dunk in the 4th quarter and it was elected as the Sprite Play of the Day (Y)
USA is a very strong team and it can play very beautiful and effective defensive and offensive basketball.
But we - Lithuanians will be back in the WC and show to all the people round the world that we are not just a bunch of a secondhand team and we will reach the new highs 8-)
Go LITHUANIA!

USA pwns....basically. No team so far has even remotley kept up with a FULLY HEALTHY team USA. You could say they got a "scare" vs. Brazil but their best player got hurt. Melo had 16 at half. Give him close to that in the 2nd half if he played and USA is owning them. There wont be a warm up that can get USA ready for the likes of Argentina and Germany. They are ready and this tourney is over. Sounds cocky but if noone gets hurt, the USA cruises.

PR kept with them for a huge part of the game, the US just pulled away at the end.

True but you have to think thats the first game action all those guys have seen as one team. The total chemistry they have going right now wasnt there.

1 1/2 quarters is not a huge part of the game.

I don't know where you are from but in America we have four quarters...hence the name "quarter". Hitler.

I have no idea what part of the game that is exactly. You mean 1 and 1/8?

I mean the first quarter (one quarter) and half of the second.
