- Brian Skinner (Phi) to go to the Bucks

- Erick Strickland (Ind) to go to the Bucks, too

- Rasho Nesterovic (Min) goes to the Spurs... 45 mil/6 years... Too much IMO.

- Kevin Ollie (Sea) to go to the Cavs

- Jake Voskhul (Pho) to stay (resign)

Also, reports of Wizards shown interest in Arenas and Speedy Claxton.

Nesterovic is a decent addition to the Spurs, though I didn't expect a contract-length of 6 years. The T-Wolves had a similar offer on the table to Rasho, so that's probably why the Spurs had to offer that amount. Popovich evidently likes the guy and thinks he'll suffice as a replacement. He fits right in free-throw-wise with the Spurs too...64% . Oh well, as long as he doesn't throw up Bowen-esque bricks, I'll be fine :) .

I think Nesterovic is a good addition for the Spurs. He'll be able to learn a lot from Duncan (and maybe Willis). I'm expecting him to show continued development. Also, good addition for the Bucks in Skinner. Good player.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP)— The Memphis Grizzlies signed rookie free agent Theron Smith to a two-year contract Wednesday.
Smith, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward, is playing with the Grizzlies in the Summer Pro-Am League in Los Angeles. Through six games, he's averaging 14.8 points and 5.3 rebounds.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"He has played just great," said Jerry West, president of basketball operations for Memphis. "I believe he has a real legitimate chance to make our team."

Smith played only three games in his senior season at Ball State because of an injured right knee.

As a junior, he averaged 19.6 points and 10.9 rebounds.

Bateer is not a PF. He is a center. He wasn't given a change in SA, maybe he will in Toronto. Speaking of which, I guess they didn't like mateen cleaves either... I am sure he showed enough during the summer league to find a job somewhere... maybe Atlanta...

Yey! Theron makes it to the league! I dunno if Memphis is the right place with Mike Miller, Shane Battier, and Mike Batiste already there, but at least he got it.

You're right about Bateer but I wasn't talking specifically about him when I said too many PFs. JYD, AD (also part-time C), Bosh, Bradley, Moiso, Baston, Bonner...

Kenny Thomas resigned with the Sixers, 7 years, 40 million (I think)

Kevin Ollie signs with Cleveland, 5 yeas/15 million

Clippers reportedly interested in keeping Brand, Odom and Maggette.

Good moves by Golden State and Milwaukee. Odd move by Memphis considering they already have enough swingmen. Sean Rooks won't be too bad in giving Jamaal Magloire a rest for 10 minutes or so.

Yeah, that's a good signing. He should get ample PT, and perhaps even start if Ford struggles early on.

Ford will struggle is the way i see it...I saw his stats the other day on his few games played..and it seems that he doesn't have good stats except for his assist..and in NBA it will be a normal average i think about 7 apg..so i do think he will struggle and he's so skinny..can't handle all 82 games as a starter..can't shoot..not very good fitigue... (N) not the perfect pick for Bucks itz just that they need to fill Casell and Payton's spot..deperatly drafting a rookie running a team without a very experience pg backing him up perhaps Bucks should sign Kerr...

Kerr's never been a starting point guard though. He's always been a guy who can handle the ball but is mainly on the team for his deadly shooting. Chances are he'll retire anyway.

or they should sign back Rafer Alston :D Travis Best is another possibility here...Tim Hardaway,Mark Jackson,Brian Shaw,Rod Strickland,Chris Whitney...bottom line:get experience pg as backup to help TJ Ford develope and give him more resting time...

I agree that the grizz have to many swing men. especially wen they say they want to get a good center to team up wit Pau. Jerry West must be planning a trade imo
