James looked a bit fatigued in his fourth and final game in Boston. The 18-year-old rookie scored just nine points on dismal 2-for-14 shooting with two rebounds and one assist. He missed every jumper he took, with five points from the free-throw line, a layup and dunk.
"He needs some rest, for one damn thing," Silas said. "He's got to let his body rest. The main thing is to take some time off and prepare himself for the rigors of the NBA. It's going to be tough for him."
When asked about his future plans, James said, "Just rest, rest up my body. I got to get well-rested for the first week in September, when training camp starts."
