Several Teams Interested in Signing Mourning
In THE SOUTH FLORIDA SUN-SENTINEL, Ira Winderman writes that Alonzo Mourning’s agent Jeffrey Wechsler "confirmed" Sunday "that the Spurs were one of several teams to contact him since the July 1 start of the free-agent negotiation period to gauge the interest of Mourning possibly playing elsewhere next season. Wechsler insisted he is not certain that the 36-year-old veteran will commit to another NBA season after winning the title this past season with the Heat, but said a decision should come 'soon.'"

You could've at least copy/pasted the article, jesus - Jae
Ok Ok I'll do it - Jae
You people are so lazy these days, was that really that hard? - Jae
No, I didn't think so - Jae
What's next, do I have to follow you people around and flush the toilet for you or something? - Jae
Anyways, carry on

what would we do w/o Jae?

We all know Zo is going to resign with the heat. Unless he's going to resign with a true contender he's just wasting another year of his life traveling accross the country and playing basketball for a team that isnt going anywhere.

Lol@ Jae's stuff, reminds me of Jamie Foxx in that video posted by Yohance earlier.
But yeah, Alonzo should've retired, he got his ring already, an ideal time to retire. (Y)

I did hear somewhere that san antonio are looking into him but Zo should retire now, as BZ said he has his ring. Might aswell finish a great career on an absolute high

Well the Spurs should be ineterested. They did trade away their 2 centers and if they let Duncan play center, Robert Horry will get PF and he isn't going to stay long.

Oops.....my bad.
It's going to be weird seeing Nazr play against the Spurs with the Pistons after winning the championships with the Spurs in 2005.
Ben Wallace should get prepared for getting booed like hell. I want to see him smack the Pistons around for not paying him more.

Unless he's offered big bucks to play elsewhere, my guess is that he'll either retire or return to the Heat for one more year as initially expected.

If Zo leaves Miami, expect Shaq trying to dunk over him on every possession he can.
HE'S USING HYPNOSIS!

i think that the heat veteran's should leave with their legacies unscathed.... no telling what one more season could do to them.... it could help them or cost them.... if they go out right now, they go out as winners and could help miami rebuild using younger players
PPL r a little feisty these days:D

but look at shane heal. he retired after finally winning his first ring, only to have the team win two more without him, and become the first team in NBL history to get a three-peat.

I think Zo is the type of person who just enjoys being able to play basketball after all the health problems he's dealt with. If he is physically capable to play with a contending Miami team, it wouldn't surprise me if he came back another year.

What about that little kid that had the same kidney problem as Zo?
He is in Miami isn't he?? He might influence Zo's decision somehow. He'll make the poor kid cry if he leaves.

i think 'zo will either retire or play 1 more year with miami.. i think he is just flirting with other teams, just like Duncan and Kobe did.
