i still they are lottery bound.. maybe a few years later when all the big guns in the west are past their primes, they'll be playoff bound. by then nene, skita, melo (assuming they stick around) should be playing up to their potential

I agree, but i think they can do much more than 17 wins. What think about 35 0r 40 wins?

if they can have 35-40 wins they'll almost be in the playoff if they're in the east

Last team? The Clippers.
No Olowokandi, no Miller, no Maggette, no Brand.

No chance.

(Ahh, that really was poetic gold) :)

It's a sign of how unbalanced the conferences are these days. A lot of the Western teams that fall short of the playoffs could be low seeds in the East.

Sad thing about the Clippers is, Mike Dunleavy will probably be sacked in January if the Clips have the worst record in the league. Never mind that Odom and Richardson will be the only really decent players on the team. Coach always gets the rough end of the stick.

I also think the Jazz will be there with the Clippers at the bottom this year...1st year or no Stockton to Malone in a looong time and no one really wants to go there now. Every other team in the west seems to be going up..only other team with a question mark is Golden State, if they keep Arenas or not is the big question.

Last: Clippers

Next to last: Utah, Golden State (if Arenas doesn't stay)

The Nuggets should get 32 wins, tops... They lack ballhandlers and rebounders... and bench help too...

Yeah he will, cause at the moment, there's really nothing there to improve on. Anybody would be an upgrade. They should try to make a run at Earl Boykins. Earl and Carmelo on the floor at the same time, now there's a Nuggets team that's fun to watch. :>
