that comparison isn't even close....just because they both can shoot the ball & are both white, doesn't make them the same type of player....

- Redick is taller (6'4" to like McNamara who can't be anymore than 6'1")
- Redick faced tougher defenses & often was faced with double & triple teams in college
- Redick's a more consistent shooter
- Redick has a much more polished offensive arsenal
- Redick will play SG in NBA, where McNamara will have to play PG

I would call McNamara a poor man's version of J.J. Redick, albeit a much smaller version....

even though it seems I'm defending J.J, I would like to see McNamara get his shot & I think he will....he's clutch, can shoot & is tough, so there's a spot for him somewhere....but there is a reason he went undrafted & Redick went in the lottery

How come the Knicks are the ONLY getting shit.. the Sonics GM deserves to be shot at the same time as Isiah..

OMG you dont know the half of it.. now im rooting for the sonics to move there management is 2nd worst next to the Knicks they are letting talent go to waste and not drafting anyone that can help right away at Freakin number 10 we could have gotten Reddick or Hilton Armstrong. i bet you it was that idiot wally walker i would shoot him and isiah at the same time.

I really dont think that jj would be a shooting guard because of his size, you dont see that many 6'4 SGs, might be underestimating but o well.

Point Guard?? Are you kidding me, JJ will be one of the best shooters in the NBA and he is actully 6'5". There is no way that a team (especially the Magic) would put him at PG.

I think the Raptors should give Allan Ray a summer league and probably a training camp invite. Toronto has no shooting guard after Mo-Pete (maybe Ford can PLAY like one at times, but hes VERY small to even play spot minutes). He can be used as instant offense I guess.
