well now that i see it... i think the gay for battier trade straight up is not as bad as i thought before. but i still dont agree with including swift becasue he is more or less the backup to howard. the rockets dont really have any big men if they let swift go.. unless novak can fill in that role

watched Draft after work all last night....a few thoughts....

- Adam Morrison to Bobcats is great. It's more reason to like the 'Cats :P I thought MJ would stuff up & draft Gay with they already had Wallace, but MJ wisely listened to others & took the more marketable & ready player....

- Portland picked up some very good rookies (Aldridge, Roy, Rodriguez, Freeland etc) but their trades were just utterly stupid. Why pick Aldridge at 2 when you can get him at 4? Why pick Roy at 6 when you can get him at 7? Makes no sense, except they must have panicked)....

- Mike Gansey didn't get selected at all (N)

- J.J. Redick ending up in Orlando, where I originally thought he was going for the last couple of months until the drink driving & bad back talk....good situation for him (Y) his lack of remorse over the drink driver however I can't respect (N)

- Seattle take Sene at 10 just because they don't want to spend money....bad news for Sonics' fans (N)

- Hornets' 2 1st Rd picks (Y) I knew they were taking 2 bigs (Hilton Armstrong & whoever was available between Bradley & Simmons)....great picks....

- after listening to Paxson, I don't mind the Tyrus Thomas pick as much....that Swiss guy looks good too (Y)

- the expression on Ronnie Brewer's face when he realised he was going to Mormon City

- Pacers, Knicks & Celtics (at 21) passing on Marcus Williams (N)

- Boston's drafting to stockpile talent to possibly make some trades (N) Telfair in Boston (N) Rondo over Williams (N) at least they got rid of Raef & picked up Theo (Y)

- picks 22 through 30 were all very good picks for each team, & all could be from pretty solid to good NBA players (Y)

that's all for now....gotta get back to work....

You've gotta be kidding me. Shelden Williams???? Go away.

Adam. Freaking. Morrison.

Or Rudy Gay if Morrison is gone.

they need a big man not a sf but they got both

No other news sources are reporting it, if it was true it would surely be a bigger story.
