Does any website tell what hand each player is?
Fri Jun 30, 2006 12:43 am
Another one? What is this, some kind of a hand fetish? And no, there are no sites specialized for hands. You could gather informations from predraft scouting reports. It's usually mentioned if someone is a lefty.

What is the reach around?
Fri Jun 30, 2006 4:16 pm
just watch them shoot or something

What does it matter anyway? I don't understand why you'ld want to know this since it really doesn't affect your talent/skill level.
Fri Jun 30, 2006 5:27 pm
Actually, it does. Being lefty helps you a lot, because people are usually not prepared to defend the other hand. That's why left handed big men have an edge in the post, because they usually go the other way that most players would.

I'd be interested in that information, and so would be Andrew, as we are trying to make the most accurate roster updates

LMAO.
Rsox, you might find right-handed and left-handed players under the players.dbf section of the current rosters. Go to "playerhand" or something like that and search for "1", where about 40 players will match that search (those are left-handed players)....the rest are right-handed
