DENVER --Los Angeles Clippers restricted free agent point guard Andre Miller has agreed to sign with the Denver Nuggets, a source within the NBA said Sunday.
Miller, the NBA's assists leader in 2001-02, is expected to sign the deal once the league's free agency period begins on Wednesday, the source said on the condition of anonymity.
The Clippers will have 15 days to match the offer, first reported in The Denver Post, or Miller will go to the Nuggets.

If the Paper Clips do match this offer I would be very surprised. On the Nuggets, it would be a great addition for this young team.

Nice addition by the Nuggets assuming the Clippers won't match the offer. If they end up getting Maggette as well, they have a pretty decent starting five.

Not the best in the league, not the best in the West, and certainly not a title contender, but definitely better than 2002/2003's squad.

Nuggies will be good in a few years. I think that assisted Miller's decision to choose Nuggs over Utah. He knows it.

if Miller does end up in Denver, I'm thinking Arenas stays put in Golden State (which i've been hoping for all along). Miami, utah, and spurs have the cap space to offer more $$ but i think GS is the best fit for him now.
feel free to disagree/agree

thats a nice lineup the nuggets will have next year with a nice looking bench too, just add a few vets and you could be looking at a playoff team next year. i cant wait to see this team in action

The 8th seed is not out of the question, but there's a lot of teams out West with fairly good lineups - Houston, Golden State and Phoenix - who were all battling for the last seed this past season. I'd say that with the right moves this offseason they could be a borderline playoff contender in 2004, but there's just too many good teams in the Western Conference.

They aren't getting him! They never even got him to sign an offer sheet! Chad Ford was lying yet again...
I suspect they will offer too much to Kandi and thus bag him...thus:
C- Olowokandi
F- Nene
F- Anthony
G- White/Yarbrough
G- Miller
is a more likely starting lineup...than "Steel Wool" and a player they never even managed to sign...

Well, we know now that Maggette is either going to Utah or staying in Los Angeles.
