I really like Shaq's monster dunks and I like every dunk with a lot of pover like Dwight Howard dunks etc.I hate those soft dunks with no pover.

Like most of you, I like power dunks and I hate overreacting after dunks (a la Wade or making a big deal out of a regular dunk like K-Mart of Mourning do).

I like Jordan dunks, the elevation is just spectacular.
Also like James Worthy type, easy two-handed but it's so classy.
Power dunkers like Dominique Wilkens is amazing to watch too.
I hate Nate Robinson dunks, but I like Spud Webb.

:?

Kobe dunks aren't spectacular anymore...

Bad timing or Nash fan?

Anyway, I like the kind of dunks where you actually really feel sorry for the defenders standing around. Where you hope everyone stays healthy (even the dunker).

Did Josh Smith ever say why he put that piece of tape behind the free throw line during the Dunk Contest???

That killed his score, disappointed expectations after thinking "Wow, he's going from back there!"

Yeah. Even though he had a major slam dunk contest flop, I still think he's an amazing dunker. He gets up really high, has long arms and throws it down with power. He's definitely one of the biggest reasons why the Hawks still even have fans.

He did this during a charity or a community thing a couple of months ago with Alex English, I think. He jumped as high as he could, tapped the ball of the backboard and then dunked it.

LOL Daryl Dawkins was awesome (Y)

I like the "slam i am jam"
``They play the game the way it's supposed to be played,'' Iverson said. ``It's not about athletics. That's the game the way Karl Malone and John Stockton play it. It's good for kids to see how the game is supposed to be played.''

I dont really have a preference, but I don't like dunks which are more stunts than sheer athletic ability. Amare's dunk last year in the slam dunk contest with Nash hitting it off his head was a stunt, and not really an athletic move. If I had to go with one, it would be someone like J-Rich who has amazing athletic ability.... he gets so much air on his jumps..

"Australian" dunks are funny. Whenever someone has a break, the crowd expects something flashy to happen, but all the player does is a two handed dunk.

Either that or they barely touch the rim and the commentators make a huge fuss and call it a huge dunk.

Favorite: Dunks on somebody with POWER and MIGHT like y'all said "In-Your-Face" are my choice dunks. Nasty, like Vince over Mt. Mutombo before, i like it when small players do it too..and Th'HumanHighlightFilm's slams from the late 80's = I think his dunks are worthy to be called 'Slam Dunks' coz he dunks like a man possessed, and feeling it (other notables: young Shaq, young Vince, Kemp).

Least Favorite: Dunks(one hand or two) from unpopular NBA players that look so freakin' weak!

Just wondering, does anyone NOT like Kemp and/or Amare's dunking? I've seen at least 5 say they do.
