Not a big fan of 'Fort Minor', as a result, this fan is dissapointed in this year's playoff theme, 'Remember The Name'. I rather liked the previous 2 years, if i recall 'In The Air' - Phil Collins and 'Lets Get It Started' -BEP. They were great 'pump-er-uper-ers'

Personally, I quite like "Remember the Name" because of its inclusion in the NBA Live soundtrack (I'm completely ignorant of Fort Minor's work otherwise). "In the Air" by Phil Collins and "Let's Get It Started" by the Black Eyed Peas were good though, as was Rob Thomas' "This is how a heart breaks" last year.

I liked the way they used U2's Elevation and Lenny Kravitz 'Dig In' in the past, even though normally I'm not into that kind of music.

U2's elevation was on the radio last night at work.....my ears started to bleed when that song came on. I am now claimimg workers compensation.

Yeah, i've seen it on NBA.com in the Playoffs section in Broadband. I personally think it fits in quite nicely.

Nothing the Black Eyed Peas or Rob Thomas brought to the NBA playoffs has been good. I like Fort Minor's album but I'm afraid I'll have to skip Mike Shinoda's first single after these playoffs when they play the song a hundred thousand times.
That said, it's a better playoffs song than anything since the NBA on NBC anthem. And if ESPN's coverage so far is an indication it'll be more subdued than thrown in my face twice every five minutes. I'll give ABC the benefit of the doubt and assume it was chosen due to the chorus:
This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name
But either way it's not John Tesh. John Tesh and cowbell = clutch for the playoffs.
Oh snap, you can get a Roundball Rock
ringtone.
