Scoring Leader (Surprise)

This hasn't been brought up at all, and im surprised. But has anyone noticed that the leading scorer for the Bobcats is Brevin Knight. Thats right, Brevin Knight and hes only averaging 12.5 ppg. Im guessing nobody thought that he would be the leading scorer for the cats. But anything could happen on a team like them.

Then that had me thinking. Who was the lowest leading scorer for an NBA team in history? Im guessing Knight has to be one of the lowest in history, if not the lowest.

No. Wallace and Okafor haven't played enough games to be eligable for the team's scoring leader. Knight has played enough games.

I don't know about that. Seems unreasonably high. If that's the case then Houston's scoring leader should be Juwan Howard at 11.1 ppg. :lol:

for the knicks it says eddie curry is there leading scorer in 65 games instead of Marbury who played 60..

It's not really as bizarre as it seems, after all he's only the acknowledged leader because he's played enough games to qualify amongst the league leaders (though 12.5 isn't going to crack the top 50). As Amphatoast pointed out, he doesn't actually have the highest average on the team.

True, but they wouldn't be the first team to have a top average of around 15, 16 points per game. The Bulls have been like that in recent years (including this season as well).

Well this is defenetely NOT bad. Cause when you have seven players, that average double digits, that's really something. That proves that team basketball is possible even in the NBA. But when it comes to clutch situations, then it's a little different...

The Bobcats don't have clutch situations, they get blown out.. :lol:

When I just wrote that, it made me think though, haven't they been losing on opposing team's buzzer beaters way more times than average (average as in how much it happens to the other teams)?
