The Play of Jake Tsakalidis - DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE

Wed Mar 15, 2006 3:37 pm

@ Seattle - 17 points, 15 rebounds
@ Sacramento - 9 points, 6 rebounds (Fouled Out)
Philadelphia - 17 points, 12 rebounds
Boston - 19 points, 16 rebounds (tonight)

Not only has he been getting double-doubles, but just look at the rebounds. I guess since he has recieved his starting spot, he has gotten comfortable with playing beside Pau and he is so big that when he gets the ball in the middle, he can just put it up. 15.5ppg and 12.2 rpg in the last 4 games.

Good for him! I love his last name.

(I have nothing to say.)

Wed Mar 15, 2006 3:52 pm

yea I saw him play against Sacramento, really impressed me..

Wed Mar 15, 2006 7:47 pm

good to see he is slowly starting to live up to the hype given to him as a 1st Round pick (Y)

he was always out of place in Phx but he seemed like at least a serviceable guy.

Wasn't his name Iakavalojos or something that they just said as Jake.

Iakovos I think.

Must be the time of the year for big white stiff's to stand up (Kaman). He's still one ugly mofo..

Jake Tsakalidis. One of if not THE ugliest mofo in the L.

ha seung jin gets that nod actually, by a mile
it's like comparing who has a better form in their jumpshot - ray allen or shawn marion.

if i was a chick, i'd definitely screw tsakilidis before ha seung jin, but that's another story.

Greek last names are quite cool.

good stuff by "fast break jake".
19 and 16 is respectable by any player. He could still make something bigger out of his career and looks like memphis is the place indeed.

What are you talking about? Kaman has been playing great since mid-December! He'd be averaging a double-double if it weren't for a slow start.

What are you talking about? cklitsie said he was standing up (as in playing well).

cklitskie said its the TIME OF THE YEAR to stand up, axel is saying that Kaman has been playing good ALL YEAR

He had kind of been invisible for a while but he's putting up big numbers now. Good for him.

I know one thing, he put Lorenzen Wright on that nice clean pine. I wonder what kind of wood cleaner he use? Pledge?

Great? More like very solid/good. He wasn't playing great as in "24 pts/23 reb/4 stl/3 blk" great.

Always thought the ugliest was E.T....aka Sam Cassell or Popeye Jones..

Yes, I do mean 'great'. The Clippers have had the 3rd most production out of the center position... and they don't really have much as far as a backup!
