I just read this: Giddy Smith tells Barkley to pucker up

Smith on Monday told the Houston Chronicle that he will make Barkley live up to an on-air bet the two made last week. Barkley said that if Yao scored 19 points in a game this year, he would kiss Smith's posterior.

Payoff time, Smith said after Yao scored 20 points in the Rockets' 93-89 victory over the Lakers on Sunday.


"I am going to pay up (Thursday) night," Barkley said Wednesday on CNN's "TalkBack Live'' program. "If you make a bet, you pay up. I just told Kenny to take a shower before the show. I made the bet and I'm going to stick by my word. Ugh.''

Will it stop Sir Charles from entertaining us with his outspoken ways? I somehow doubt that, though he might think twice before making such a bet again.

Seems like a really dumb move by Charles...I mean it seems like there was no way he could 'win' the bet...just either have to kiss Kenny Smith's rear or not. He should've at least required that Kenny kiss his if Yao doesn't score 19 points by the All-Star break...but oh well...he deserves this embarrassment...

Oh yea...Kenny's comment "Sometimes even when you win, you lose" is funny as hell.

Homonym saves Barkley from kissing Smith's backside

For the occasion, Smith said he purchased a donkey so that Barkley could kiss his, well, ass. With a TNT studio panel that included Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura mocking him, Barkley leaned in close and gave the donkey a quick peck on the haunches.
