*Sniff* *Sniff* Something's on the grill!? JRich is cooking!

Well, we know Paul Pierce has been on a tear recently, but JRich has been under the radar. He's lead the team in scoring the 7 of the last 8 games with 39, 10, 35, 25, 27, 36, 42, 27, and 44 tonight. I know this outbreak can be attributed to Baron's injury, but he's stepped up considering his normal outputs. Unfortunately the Warriors have lost 8 of their last 11 games, but still, I think his output is worth noting. Especially 2 career highs in the same week. Not to mention he's been shooting much more consistantly from 3, including 6/7 against the Heat a few hours ago.

But just because the Warriors are losing, should this go without mention? Nope. Hopefully when BD gets to 100% and if JRich continues playing like this they'll be able to sneak back into the playoff picture.

I'm not a huge fan of J-Rich (though I certainly enjoy his highlights) and I'm not about to bandwagon, but it's nice to see him steadily on the rise. I've just taken a look at his numbers and "under the radar" is right. If he keeps it up and the Warriors start winning he's going to make a good bid for an All-Star selection sometime in the next few years.

he's really excelled but GSW need to get rid of B Diddy for him to shine

have been a fan of J-Rich since like his rookie year..enjoy watching him duo with Arenas back to their rookie year..heh..i wonder if Arenas is not traded to Washington..them both must be a threat..

for some reason j-rich reminds me a lot of a young finley. oh well, he's on a tear, good for him.

J-Rich definitely has been playing under the radar, but I think after todays performance and the way he shot the 3 ball, peeps will recognize.

As for their team, obviously we can see its not doin nethin to their record which is showin signs of pre-baron davis. So when BDiddy is back in form and Jrich keeps doin his thing, they should and I hope they do, make a push.

unlikely....Davis doesn't pass like he did in his 18-10 stint....that was a fairy tale.

jrich is almost a quiet achiever!

I love J-Rich. He's my favourite player in this league and he normally gets unnoticed. Hopefully he'll be able to make the all-star team next season and get some highlights in there because this year's was a sleeper.

The only problem I have with him is that he should stop settling for so many threes. The guy averages 6.2 attempts, which is a lot for a player not naturally known to shoot it from long range. With someone of his athletic ability, he should be able to get to the freethrow line a lot more often than he does.

i love the guy but i think he had 11 points tonight :?

Sun Mar 12, 2006 3:04 pm

this guy is great, hes got great intensity, super athletic, and i am pretty sure VERY HARD WORKING.. or else he wouldnt' be keeping up that body.. which will keep him relatively injury free..

if he is really that hard working ( speculation only ), he could an all-star in da future for sure.. look at his 3 pointers this season... hes got game

Good to see he's not just a dunker..he's a likable guy.
