Clippers tie record!

The franchise -- known for being one of the worst in sports -- hasn't been 11 games over the break-even mark since the Buffalo Braves were 30-19 on Jan. 28, 1976.

took'em 30 years but they there now with there victory over the raptors  The trade for Cassell seems to be working out well for the clippers

Yup, a lot of things have gone well this season. Adding Cassell and Mobley finally gave the team an experienced, consistent backcourt that can hit shots. Brand improved his game even more, and Kaman has become about a double double guy. He's puting up about 11 PPG, 9 RPG, and almost 2 BPG.

It's definately been nice. Maggette being healthy would help too, but hey, what can you do.

They went 11 games over .500 yesterday.

With a healthy Maggette, I think the Clips have a chance to get into the second round

if they get 6th seed yeah maybe, since that's who plays the 3rd seed which is weak

but i doubt they get pass dallas or san antonio (they both tied for #1 and #4 believe it or not) in the first round

the midwest leader is 3rd seed, denver, which somedays is utah, other days it's minnesota. [memphis is 6th seed.. they might make 2nd round!]

that would mean Dallas & SAS in rnd 2.....sweet.

lol never thought about it but yup... and phoenix going to the western conference finals once again lol

No, we need to get above Phoenix and have the 2nd seed as opposed to the 5th seed. The 5th seed is a very bad place as you get Dallas or SA in the first round.

I have to admit, even after the hot start I figured they'd fizzle. In my defense, I had history on my side.

It's okay, no one can blame you, but I had hope, and Maggette has been out too. We wer'e a 70% win team with Maggette, without him, we've been a 60% win team. Right now the Clips are 1.5 games behind the Suns, common...
