Erm? Ilgauskas (7.4), Gooden (8.7) and Marshall (7.5) = 23.6rpg. Which trio of big men is better than that?

He didn't play for stats. He played to win. The fact of the matter his, he didn't know how to win. He thought that to win, the ball had to be in his hands the whole game. He thought he had to be the playmaker and lead the league in scoring at the same time. This made it easy for good defensive teams such as the Pistons to beat the Bulls because you could just focus your energy and pressure on Jordan and dismantle the whole team.

Then Phil Jackson came and made Jordan's life much easier. Six rings came out of it.

He didn't play for stats.

Okay, if you can believe he made 25% of his career triple doubles at once just 'to win'.

in the central division, if you total the rebounds for key frontcourt players for each Central division team, the Cavs are not even the best.

you mentioned "best in the country". why not factor in toronto  ;)

glove- actually the jordan rules strategy was to let Jordan get his, albeit make it hard for him, and make his teammates beat you

So with that one milestone, Kobe has eclipsed the rest of Michael Jordan's achievements? If that's what you're suggesting I must respectfully (but enthusiastically) disagree.

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw the other thread and Jae's discovery.

1) Wilt many times was too interested in his own individual accomplishments as opposed to the teams accomplishments. The End
