who d you think is the greatest big man duo in nba history...
a) duncan/robinson
b) parish/mchale
c) samson/olajuwon
d) others
me, duncan robinson, both in their prime dominates the game like no other...
sure, shaq is one hell of a big man but he had no partner in paint....

Yep. Shaq and Horry! haha Shaq dominated the paint and Horry finishes them off! Oh yeah.
Being seious, Duncan and Robinson never played in eachother's primes but if they did, I would think they would have dominated no doubt! I also think the Wallaces are a good frontcourt!
Can someone tell me how Samson and Olajuwan fared in the same frontcourt?

Tim Duncan/David Robinson
Great players. Duo and individually.

I'll go with the Robinson/Duncan duo. Parish and McHale are close but unlike the Robinson/Duncan pairing neither is the team's MVP; as significant as they were, as great as they were, Larry Bird was their most valuable weapon. Olajuwon/Sampson could have been great but aside from an unsuccessful trip to the Finals in 1986 they didn't accomplish much.

They may not be the best ever, but Ewing/Oakley were a pretty tough duo as well.

Who are you, Sean Elliot?

Duncan/Robinson were the best combo at the front. The reason why Sampson/Olajuwon aren't is because Hakeem got better over the years and became what you saw in 1993-1995 and the two never quite played as well together as it's been said numerous times(though they went to the Finals, so that is up in the air), the thing with Dave and Tim is Dave wasn't the same and getting him to accept a new role helped the team and the two thrive. Mchale/Parish were definately in the top 3 but they were apart of a three headed monster and though LArry may have been their MVP, without these two in the paint (game played inside out) I'm not sure how much better that Celtic team would have been, think Spurs with no Duncan but you have Manu and Parker not the same. Also, Hakeem seem to thrive moreso in the center spot even though he was around 6'9 or 6'10 and Sampson couldn't overcome injuries.

David Robinson & Tim Duncan
San Antonio's Deadly twin towers... both can score, rebound, defend, and both of them plays smart basic scientific basketball! Both of them can wreak havok against opposing teams...
