The Lakers looked a lot more focused today, plus Kobe played a lot better. KG did all he could but noone was backing him up. Where's Wally??

lol Pun intended there Clinton?

The Wolves have won when Wally has played reasonably well. He shot what, 3-7 in the last game? That is a joke, he has got to get more shots than that. He's getting the money, so let him earn it. I dunno if they're just not passing him the ball, or he's not doing a good job in making himself available, but he needs to get a bunch of shots every game.

Damn T-Wolves, had me all excited for a little while there... :x

BOTH TEAMS PLAY HAERD...BOTH TEAMS PLAY HAERD

heh but seriously...lakers have the psychological edge right now and kevin garnett is this much --- from crying. This is his first time he's in this position and while he's a superstar..he doesn't have the mental capability to deal with it. With that said....both teams play haerd...nah..i hope t'wolves kick ass!

WOLVES ARE GONNA TAKE IT UP A LEVEL..THEN AFTER THAT..THEY GONNA TAKE IT UP 4 MORE LEVELS JUST SO THEY COULD TAKE IT UP 3 MORE LEVELS. THEN THEY GONNA TAKE IT UP 5 MORE LEVELS TO FINISH LAKERS OFF AND 3 LEVELS DOWN TO CALM THEMSELVES AFTER THEY TAKE IT UP 6 MORE LEVELS.

Not to take anything away from the Lakers, but if Szczerbiak was playing a little better, the Wolves might have a bit more of a chance. The Wolves need someone who can be selfish when needed, and someone who is willing to put up shots even if he shot 5/20 in the last game. They're not going to accomplish anything by being placid - they need what their opponents have, a couple of players who will be aggressive, put up shots, and play with intensity.

Surround them with capable role players, and you have a formula that has allowed a lot of teams to win or at least contend for the championship, including the Lakers. Unless the Wolves can get a couple of big games out of Hudson and Wally, with KG playing at his best and the Lakers' faltering, there won't be victory in seven for Minnesota, just elimination in six.

When do the T-wolves get their first round pick back? When they get one of those they'll do a lot better

I think the league returned one of the five picks it took, either this year's or next year's. The draft order for playoff teams was announced recently, I forget whether Minnesota was listed as having a pick.

But have you stopped to think that maybe Wally is not playing good because the Lakers are containing him and getting in his head? I think Rick Fox and Kobe Bryant destroyed his confidence early on and he never got it back, so that is a credit to the Lakers rather than a minus for the Wolves.

Sure, I won't argue the fact good defense could be throwing Wally off his game. But no matter whether it's just a slump or excellent defense by Fox/Kobe in the series, Wally's inability to play well throughout the series has been to the Wolves' disadvantage.
