I agree. When a player is playing to reach a milestone, set a record or accomplish some statistical feat, chances are they will be playing outside the flow of the game, and end up hurting the team (eg shooting whenever you get the ball, no matter how ill-advised the shot may be, to achieve a scoring record). Of course, the Cavs losing games these days doesn't really mean much, since they're in LeBron contention, not playoff contention. Nevertheless, it's a bad habit for a player to be overly concerned with statistics to the point they become too much of an individual on the court.

since the jazz game ricky's not scored more than 11 points, 31 points in 3 games so i think his confidence has been dinted and will think twice now about individual numbers.
anyway did anyone see them retro jerseys the nuggets wore last nite, that takes me back, maybe they should keep them after the win over boston in them.
