Knicks will be a playoffs team but not the championship team, Knicks is still a long way from being a championship contender.

Hey, anyone who doesn't want to make a committment to rebounding and hard-nosed defense - bye-bye! Knicks have to go back to that old Riley/Van Gundy "D".

yeah i actually like the old van gundy knicks. These new knicks try shooting a lot but its just not working... they not good enough for it.. they no phoenix or dallas

Amp, that's why I can't figure out why Isiah tried making the Knicks a watered-down version of Phoenix. That's not how his Bad Boy Pistons won.

I know frye and robinson will get playing time since frye is knicks only center (so far) and robinson is only backup pg (so far ) , unless they wanna use penny at PG...

It should really help out the Knicks to maybe a serious Play-Off run.

yeah he will be the starter. if he produces like he did in the Kings series don't expect Frye to play much.
back to larry brown
July 30, 2005 -- Larry Brown said he expects the Knicks to be on the verge of their first championship since 1973 in his third season.
Brown knows he's getting paid $9 million a year to raise another banner to the Garden rafters.
"I would hope so," Brown told The Post's Steve Serby...

Saying that Brown is only going to the Knicks for money is totally ridiculous. The Knicks are his dream job, that's why he's going. He cares about the money, sure, but he wants to coach the New York Knicks. Period.
Oh my god, I just defended a guy that went from Detroit to New York...

he always says the team that hires him is the place he wants to be, doesn't plan on leaving, etc.
the chicago trib pulled up a bunch of quotes from his hirings and pretty much he said these things at each press conf.

If Trevor Ariza's minutes go down.

He'll have to play young guys since most of the Knicks best players are young guys.

Pacers are already in full gear. O'Neal and Artest are in their prime and Granger's going to help.
