You're extremely welcome for recognizing my kindness... (Y)

like i said no big deal... only 2 of last year's 2nd round picks made some kind of impact on their ballclubs anyway

That's what they said about Michael Redd in his first year...

lol and what about the rest of the 2nd round picks?

ceekay.. fgrep has them right....ariza didn't have such a big impact imo but i definitely think he's a keeper (Y) and was a good pick by zeke

Yes, let's just make it a one-round draft.... it'll be less boring come draft-day. :|

lol you're missing the point... don't kidd yourself- 2nd rounders are a crapshoot

for just about every 2nd round gem like redd, there are 29 2nd rounders that don't work out/bust

True. But this year might prove different, if all the pre-draft talk was spot-on... Von Wafer for the ASG... (Y)

IMO it should be 1 Round plus a second round for the lottery picks and undrafted players can be signed to contracts or move to a hopefully larger NBDL.

But if that happens we wont see the Spurs making 60th overall picks star players, so I think two rounds is fine although I prefer the above.

This year has potentially alot of sleeper picks, lots of talented players fell into the secound round unlike last year or the year before where besides maybe Trevor Ariza no one really dropped.

Just to make things more interesting, I'd have 3 rounds... first 2 rounds for home grown players, and a 3rd round for foreigners who won't be coming over for some time. The ones who have their rights retained, but don't come to play in the NBA until later in their career.
