They'll still b ebricking their threes if they don't sign at least a spot-up shooter for their bench. Although I'm betting Jasikevicius is going to Ohio, so problem solved right there...

Thank God, I thought Danny Ferry was gonna ruin the team. LeBron may be even happier to stay around.

That is a bad move for everyone involved, including Hughes. While he's a good passer, he's too selfish to be a PG, Hughes is one of the only guys I've seen that never wants to pass the ball on the break

Hughes was unhappy with negotiations in DC. He wanted more money than Arenas.

..and Hughes will NOT play the PG. He hated that position, that's why he went back to SG.

I think Cleveland overpaid him. Let's not forget he gets injured like 20 games a year.

Wasn't Hughes a restricted free agent? Doesn't that mean that the Wizards can match any offer?

no i think wizards already resigned him once when he was a restricted FA. Hughes was draft a while back, more than 5-6 years ago i think.

drew gooden is a better fit than shareef imo.. gooden is more aggressive and knows his role in the team.. can't really say the same for shareef.. he's not as aggressive as he used to be, and every team he's gone to wind up not making the playoffs

This is a great signing. Hughes can attack the basket very well. True, his jumper is not as good as Allen or Redd but any other scoring threat will help take some pressure off of Bron. Now lets go get big Z!!

since the cavs struck out on the top sg's allen, redd, and soon johnson, i guess they felt the need to throw a lot of that money at hughes

on the other side..

so much for that wiz-bulls rivalry brewing. depending what they do with kwame brown, they should have close to $10 mil available (Y)

They still need a 3-pt shooter.

Joe Johnson would've been great too. He's a shooter and a scorer. He's probably gonna get paid as much anyways...
