sounds like me
but in all seriousness, I'm gonna wait until I get Foxtel later in the year, and follow it all before I give my heart and soul to a team....Bobcats would have to be a frontrunner though, although we'll see

Goodl uck, from what ive heard, u wont be getting much coverage.. at least theres sportscenter!
Out of interest, how did u start following NBA?
Mon Jul 04, 2005 8:03 pm
I'm also getting it for the rugby (Super 12, All Blacks tests, Six Nations, etc), music channels and so on....and I luv sportscenter
hmm....how did I start following NBA?!? not sure....at end of grade 7 which was back in 1993, I just started to watch it and get into it....it kinda coincided with a growth spurt as I shot up about half a foot in early 1994....became an immediate fan of Latrell Sprewell and the Warriors....and just got into it in general back then....starting playing bball or streetball as it's called now around that time and as the next year or two came along, I became a fanatic, which also coincided with the introduction of NBA Live 95, which was easily the best Live there has or ever will be (as far as I'm concerned)....back in 1994 and 1995 I collected basketball cards, still have them now, they're in some box or in plastic sleeves in the cupboard....played the computer games on Mega Drive....played bball at lunch and after school everyday....once I moved back to NZ in late 1995 and I didn't know anyone, I just played by myself and practiced moves and my jumpshot....shot hundreds and hundreds of shots a day....rain or sunshine, it didn't matter....played right through until 2nd year uni (2000) after which I stopped playing because of uni and work commitments....still follow game and probably always will

...or the other 25 teams... at least we're narrowing it down...
I know deep inside that Mr. watson will wind up all dressed in orange and rooting for the Bobcats...
BTW, X, what's your favorite college team? Maybe locality can help you pick a fav NBA team...

yeah, you're probably right about the Bobcats....although I wish they didn't wear orange

maybe they should look at my dynasty for suggestions
as for favourite college team....I've also been a fan of Maryland from the ACC....followed them from the Laron Profit days....always had a soft spot for Syracuse ever since the John Wallace tourney run....liked Wisconsin because Penney played for them, but their style is depressing....

No in-state teams there...
always had a soft spot for Syracuse ever since the John Wallace tourney run
New Yorkers, but they do wear orange like the Bobcats...
liked Wisconsin because Penney played for them, but their style is depressing....
Milwaukee is in-state, plus they have Bogut now... maybe it's an Australian/Kiwi state after all...
Tue Jul 05, 2005 10:05 pm
I'm naturally going to like the Bucks....obviously they have Bogut....I've been a big fan of Redd's since his Ohio State days when he ran with Scoonie Penn....talking of Redd, looking back at his Buckeyes' days, who would have thought he would become such a great shooter....that's dedication for you and hours in the bball gym....they got ex-Oklahoma State (who I also like) Desmond Mason....and who doesn't like TJ Ford, when he's healthy he's fun and makes everyone better....the drafting of Ersan Ilyasova was a great 2nd Round pick....so I will definitely be supporting the Bucks....now only if they upgraded on what has to be the worst jerseys in the NBA
I didn't like that they gave Porter the flick, but ahh well....it's the NBA after all....
hmm....maybe Bucks are on the list with the Bobcats

Oh,man, just root for the Warriors and let's get this over with... I even heard rumors we'll be trading for pape...

Warriors have orange
Wed Jul 06, 2005 5:26 pm
While we're talking about college teams... Ed Cota is playing for Wasington's summer league team

... and Ousmane Cisse.

Warriors have orange
Only in their alternate away uni, and it's the type of orange I like... not as eye-straining as the Bobcats' one...
hey Drex, don't go messing with my recruitment efforts...
