The Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers traded picks Tuesday.

Portland traded the rights to the No. 3 pick to Utah for the rights to the No. 6 and No. 27 picks and the rights to a 2006 first-round pick that the Jazz got from the Detroit Pistons.

All trades had to be in by 2 p.m. ET.

A source said the Jazz would look to draft a point guard at No. 3, deciding between Illinois junior Deron Williams and Wake Forest sophomore Chris Paul.

The Blazers would then possibly draft one of two high school players -- Gerald Green or Martell Webster -- at No. 6.

now that was fast maes good pick for the jazz and the pistons pick will be low, but i would prefer to give up the two secound round pick instead of #26

i have a strong feeling that jazz's gonna pick Deron Williams over Chris Paul, which is good, cause a great basketball player like Paul should play for a team that gets more attention than the Jazz. Besides, the jazz is so boring to watch.

Like... the Hornets? Thats's a good one... The Utah Jazz have been a 50-win franchise for nearly 20 years, young one, and I fail to see how one can even begin to mention the two franchises' respectability in the same breath together...

well i'm just trying to say that right now, the jazz is not so hot anymore. I can't remember the last time i watched a jazz game. I obviously like the old jazz with stockton and malone. With Kirelinko and Boozer injured half the season, they are just not getting the a lot of attention anymore.
