Madsen was injured most of the second half of the season.

Juan Dixon for the Wizards!

Im lovin the Pacers love in this thread!
James Jones was an unsung hero of the Boston series, he made a lot of big shots.
and of course... Jonathon Bender was a hero this year too

Hell, Artest is my hero, I would've bopped whoever in the head too if they threw something at me.
Mon Jun 06, 2005 10:41 am
just make sure you go for the right guy
Mon Jun 06, 2005 10:42 am

Trust me, when I lose it, I lose it on everybody, at that time, with the rush & the adrenaline and not to forget Ben's powerfull bop to my own head, I'd lose it on the Pope.
R.I.P. btw...

I have to agree with Caron Butler. 20 points on numerous occasions, shot over 90% free throws over different stretches of the season, and he was just really knocking down shots... 44.5% shooting.

Lee Nailon for mine, hes come up big a couple seasons ago as i remember, this is the second time hes stepped up for a Hornets team and he doesnt get much cred.

For Toronto, it's definitely Milt Palacio. He knew his role, and he always did his job. He ran the offense really well when he got some time, and he was great in the fast break. He knew he couldn't shoot to begin with, and he seemed to never force up shots. Bonner was another guy, but he got more than enough attention. Same with Donyell, he got far too much attention around the trade deadline.

the white dudes in Houston....Barry, Sura, Padgett....they helped turn the season around for H Town.
Jason Terry in Dallas, he replaced Steve Nash very well and come playoff time he was scoring bucket loads.
Reggie Evans...he was a physical presence in the middle, scrapping for the ball and hustling every minute he was out there
Pacers bench...they managed to keep the team in the playoff run
Ricky Davis....didnt gripe off the bench and accepted his role
Manu Ginobili...a classy guy that accepted a 6th man role in the playoffs

Marion is what makes the Phoenix game go around... There much hype about Amare and Nash using the pick and roll... The key to Spurs victory was to keep Marion off the scoring board and it worked. The only game he scored 10+ points against the Spurs was the game Suns won.
Amare put down a whopping 37 ppg on the Spurs, but couldn't get it done without Marion doing his share. He is an unsung hero as a 6'7" power forward... He just gets the job done...

Luke Ridnour.
I think he is the reason the Sonics turned around so dramaticly. He was their version of Steve Nash, but didn't get a lot of attention because of Allen and Lewis.
BTW, i think Ridnour is the ugliest player in the league, and it is impressive for somone with his looks to succeed in a televised sport.

I love his pass in the NBA Top 10 assists.

He's not that ugly, compared to say, Sam Cassell or Earvin Johnson.

i dont think ridnour was really an unsung hero. he and daniels were splitting time at the point for much of the season and in most of the 4th qtrs, it was daniels in over ridnour
mine's rick carlisle

You can't compare him to those two, we all know that Cassel isn't human, and Johnsen is a 7-footer, he is suposed to be abnormal. Ridnour has got no excuse.

Ginobli is an interesting one. He's an unsung hero for not taking a fat contract in Denver and sticking with the Spurs at an extremely undervalued contract.
I can't believe you can call Ridnour ugly when your pic is of Laimbeer with a mask on. Now that's scary.
I personally find Mehmet Okur hideous, but i think it's all personal taste.

Definately not
I was going to say Ginobili, but then I thought to myself, he did make the All-Star team.
