Western Conference
San Antonio over Phoenix (4-1)

Gotta think this because San Antonio took the first two games at Phoenix and they dont often loose at home but I'll give Phoenix one win cuz I think they can pull it off but San Antonio has the experience they need to get to the finals.

Eastern Conference
Detriot over Miami (4-2)

Gonna be a very tight series but again Detroit has been there with the team they have now so they have the experience needed. Don't worry Miami fans....theres always next year....or the year after.....or....well you get my point....

It's all about Shaq's health. When he's healthy, Ben Wallace can't slow Shaq down even remotely. Remember last year? Ben Wallace's coverage of Shaq yielded him going 53 for 84, or 63% field goal percentage. The problem was nobody would give Shaq the ball except Luke Walton.

In game 1 Shaq got 16 looks, made 13 of them. Guess who got 27 looks and made 10, including 1-6 from the arc? Per minute, Derek FISHER got more shots per minute than Shaq. That was pretty much the story for the rest of that series.

*IF* certain Lakers guards would have fed Shaq the ball more Shaq would have continued to destroy Wallace in single coverage, forcing Detroit to double Shaq, and (omg) free up some Lakers for easier shots. As it was, they just let Shaq get his dozen looks, and meanwhile forced the rest of the lakers to the 30% FG shooting.

Miami needs Shaq to some shade of his former self to win this.

San Antonio over Pheonix 4-0
Don't really care for the Spurs but the Suns aren't coming back.

Miami over Detroit 4-3
I really hope the Heat do win otherwise it is going to be the lowest scoring finals in a long time.

say miami makes it to the finals..
if dwyane wade is struggling with lindsey hunter guarding him i wonder how he would do with bowen checking him.. given that bowen is taller and a better defender  i'm probably gonna be pulling my hair out and dropkicking my tv

No way bowen can take care of Wade, I agree Bowen is one helluva defender but Dwayne is a rising phenom. He touches the ball and has a zest for the game I haven't seen in any player since MJ. I know the comparison is gettin old but Wade is honestly the closest match to Micheal. Bowen might give Wade a hard time, but instead of putting up 40 points against Bowen, Wade might just be able to dish out 30. ;)

Btw, I feel San Antonio is a stronger team but ya gotta go with your gut feeling. Miami World Champs. (Y)
Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.
