Never understood that trade from either team's standpoint...they both shot themselves in the foot.
As people have posted, Sac runs an offense heavy on passing. Brad Miller was a typical 1-2 APG C, when he got to Sac his APGs doubled to 4.3 & 3.9. Kenny Thomas went from 1.6 APG in Philly to 2.9 in Sac. No team would have benefitted more from C-Webb's passing skills than Sacramento.
AI wants to penetrate and cause defensive shifts and chaos. Hard to do when C-Webb is planted in the paint waiting for AI to pass him the ball so he can start the offense.
Philly wanted Amare (take the pass & dunk it), they got the opposite instead with C-Webb (handle the ball & dish it).
