Eddie gill has got to be one of the nicest people i have ever met. He is a genuinly great guy. I met him earlier this year and had a conversation with him, and i talked to him again yesterday, he remembered me from chicago, we talked for awhile while he signed autographs for EVERYONE in the parking lot. We talked about jermaine (i got an insiders point of view about him.) we talked about what its like to have ron-ron in practice, we talked about NBA life in general, we talked about what its like to be a quasi-celebrity, i told him a little about why i became a pacer fan, he is just a really really great guy. I told him i would be coming down 2 more times this year and he said thats great what games. i told him what games and he said i have a free afternoon on april 8th before the wizards game and i said how bout we have lunch (jokingly) and he said sure why not ive never had anybody recognize me and talk to me like this before and we swapped numbers. we probably will only have time for a quick bite but still!!!  :D :D :D

i also had a conversation with james jones, another great guy.

but back on topic..

PACERS RULE!

When me and my parents drove down to Minnesota I had a pretty nice talk with Mark Madsen and Keith McLeod last year.

It was before they played the Utah Jazz and Arroyo tore them up for 30 points :)

well, that matchup is really unlikely, the pacers hold the 6 spot right now, philadelphia and new jersey are pretty far off the pacers, the lowest that the pacers will probably slide is 7th. the highest, is 5th if the bulls start to come down from this streak they are on. I think the pacers can beat the pistons, the celtics or the heat, but the heat matchup is the most unlikely one.

Good game, but one of their wins, Shaq wasn't there, Wade hit back to back three's in his attempt to prolong the game, and Reggie is just too clutch still..

Can we get a transcript of your convo with Eddie Gill? It sounds interesting, cut out the bits where you two kiss though :P

My mum once had a short convo with Chris Anstey while he was still with the Bulls, it was after an Australia v. Canada match and we were waiting for autographs.

Mum: Hey, can I get an autograph for my son? (my little brother)
Anstey: You know, you look like Goldie Hawn
Random guy to my mum: You should say thank you
Mum: Nah, she can't act as well as me
Anstey: Laughs and goes off into basketballing oblivion

No lunch date though.

I can't help thinking that ugly missed layup in the open floor back in the 2000 Olympics at least contributed to that. It's a toss up between that and Acie Earl's dominance of the league.

On topic, that's really cool Indy. But it would be even cooler if you could persuade him to wear an armband with "NLSC" on it. ;)

You probably stalk him...

On topic, it was a good win for the Pacers man, freakin S. Jackson had a horrible streak at one point, but then he forced OT...

Damn, congrats IndyPacers...

That's what I told my brother when we were watching the game, he took 2 steps without dribbling, then still did a turnaround :?

What are you talking about shaq wasnt there? Shaq had an enourmous game, because of him it was close. He had 24 points and 13 rebounds on 11-18 shooting. and dwyane wade had 37 points 9 rebounds and 6 assists, he had one of the best games ive ever seen him play. The heat can make NO excuses, the pacers played better in this game, the heat had all of their players, and they all played huge games. Damon Jones also had the biggest game ive ever seen him play. he had 27 points and 5 rebounds.

and wade didnt hit shots to prolong the game... they heat were up 7 with less then a minute left and the pacers caught fire and shut down shaq.

i dont think you watched the game fgrep...

I don't think you know how to read :P , I said in one of the Pacers wins, Shaq wasn't there, since someone reffered to them beating the Heat 3 times. The game where Wade missed a step back three in OT to win the game.

Mmm... yes he did, the game was already over, and he hit the three's to cut the lead to 5 and then 4, which caused Miami to keep fouling, though the game was already over. In turn, the shots prolonged the game, thank you for yourtime :D

What you wrote was one of their wins, shaq wasnt there, it looked like you were lazily writing:

it was just another one of those lucky pacers wins, shaq wasnt there, etc.

and i thought you were talking about wades shots before overtime not in overtime. next time you write something about a game write more then a line that is impossible to interpret.

this loss won't count much to Heat..
they will eventually beat Pacers in the playoffs, or Pacers will be beaten by other teams in the playoff, and Heat might never see Pacers again..
oh no!! Could it be the last game of Heat vs Pacers this season?

Yea, I'll try, but it was 2:31 AM, I was thinking more about sleeping than writing an analysis of the game
