You have Walker, Miller and Illgauskas, why use Carter? He can't defend guys his own size, how is he going to defend Garnett? The East had guys to use, they just prefered not to use them.

Carter had a very good game against Atlanta, he played good defense too.

Ya I agree Dan. He played a great game defensively, denying his man the ball and getting a hand up constantly. He also hit a bunch of clutch shots down the stretch.

Maybe he saw his teammates playing this defence thing while he was injured and he decided to give it a go when he returned.
