I think anyone in their right mind would need to be seeing a lot of green in their eyes to say "I want to be a Knick".

I think what he meant to say was: " I want to be overpaid ".

Then again, he's overpaid right where he is now, so...

With Isiah in charge, this team just gets smaller & smaller. Has he forgotten how his Pistons won the title? SIZE, DEFENSE & REBOUNDING!!!

Damn...

i think isiah is just looking at names instead of what we actually need.. he needs to get a big man here. Kurt thomas can play SOME center, but Sweetney just isn't a center..they need some size. No need for any more guards, crawford and marbury is good enough. Same for power foward.

The last thing the Knicks need is to create another logjam, especially if it means a logjam of highly priced guards.

Nitpick of the day:

The 5-10 Stoudamire, who scored 25 points in Portland's 103-96 victory over the Knicks on Saturday, long has been a favorite of Thomas, who drafted Stoudamire 12 years ago with the Raptors.

Since when is 1995 12 years ago?

Isiah Thomas is a hopeless GM, hes entering the league of Babcock and Kupchak.....I think its time he stepped onto the court and coached and let a smarter more accustomed person handle the role of General Manager.

I would prefer the Knicks getting Kwame Brown over Damon Stoudamire....even Jason Collier would be a better choice.

He came in as a hero after he got Starbury n the Knicks back to the playoffs....but hes almost as bad a gm as Layden was considering the trades he done....plus hes just pushed aside Cheaney and Wilkens like they were trash.

I can see why some players dont really like him.

FI-RE THOMAS! FI-RE THOMAS!
