a big win vs the Kings today combined with a Grizzlies lose made the race in the west a little more interesting. The Nuggets are only 1 game behind the grizzlies, 2 behind the Kings ( in the lost column) and 3 behind the Rockets ( in the lost column)
With the nuggets being the hottest team in the NBA at the moment, moving up the ranks looks very possible. What's you guys thoughts on this? Can the nuggets reach up and past the Kings? They just haven't been the same since the Cwebb trade plus brad miller is done for the year.

I guess they could....and moving up to 6th would be wise so that they avoid Suns and Spurs. Watch out for T'Wolves sneaking up, they're making a run now

They might overtake Memphis for the 7th seed but Sacramento would have to lose a few in a row for Denver to get into good position to get by them. Even if Denver's playing better ball they're still 3.5 games back with just 14 games left on their schedule. It sounds like a lot of time but if Sacramento goes .500 or better the rest of the way Denver will basically have to go undefeated the rest of the way.
